Fur Is Cruel

Fur is gross, weird, inhumane, and unnecessary. Whenever I do a fur protest in the winter and I am freezing my ass off, I just think about the horror that the animals experience when they are trapped and killed for their fur. It always keeps me motivated to stay out there.


I was surprised when I heard that Kohl’s carries fur products. They didn’t strike me as the type of company that would fund cruelty. They have been informed of the cruelty that goes along with fur products.

The anti-fur campaign is one of the battles that are being won by animal rights activists. Companies and people are pledging everyday to ditch fur products.

Join me in putting an end to animals being suffocated, electrocuted, gassed, poisoned, skinned alive, bludgeoned, and tortured for their fur. Speak up for foxes, coyotes, rabbits, dogs, and cats.

End Greyhound Racing

Most people do not know about the atrocities that take place behind the scenes at horse and dog racing events. At the Ebro Greyhound Park in Florida, 32 dogs were found dead.


The fact is, they come from breeders who kill the dogs that don’t fit the mold. Or worse yet, many of them are sold to labs to be experimented on. The ones they decide to use are confined in cages, injured in races and killed if they suffer minor injuries.

Phone Calls Needed to U of M

I have posted in the past about U of M using live cats and pigs in terrible experiments. They stick plastic tubes down the throats of cats and cut holes in pig’s limbs, throats, and chests. This form of testing is primitive, cruel, and unnecessary.

We have signed petitions, sent emails, protested at the university, provided other methods with expert backing, and had celebrity endorsements. It hasn’t stopped them.

Emails are easy to delete but phone calls are not. The next step is to call UM President Mary Sue Coleman at 734.764.6270 and politely ask her to replace the use of animals with modern humane simulators that the school already has. It is what all the other universities are using. The cats and pigs need your voice.

Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico filed a complaint with the U.S. Department of Agriculture asking them to stop the transfer of 186 chimpanzees to a research lab in Texas.

The University of Michigan is among only FIVE PERCENT of institutions still using live animals in training programs. The rest of the schools are using the TraumaMan System which is better and humane. Animals don’t even have the same anatomy as the students will face in real life.


Cats get tubes stuck down their throats; pigs get needles stuck in their hearts. They kill all of the pigs and put the surviving cats up for adoption. It is cruel and unnecessary.

After enough pressure from animal rights groups, student protesters, and petitions they stopped using live dogs. Let’s help the cats and pigs too. Please add your name to this petition.

Dog Burned in Detroit-Please Act Tonight!!

In Detroit, a pit bull and German shepherd-mix named Lady was covered in gasoline and set on fire after failed attempts at hanging her. The Humane Society along with other organizations offered a reward of $10,000 to identify the individuals responsible.


Kristian Jackson and Decarlos Young are facing criminal charges for the abuse. They videotaped the events with their cell phones.

If you live in the Detroit area, please try to attend the court case and support the prosecution. The arraignment is scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday the 18th at 9:00am in Room 801 at the Wayne County Circuit Court.

Disgusting Lobster Machine

The lobster zone machine is one of the most disgusting/disturbing “games” I have ever heard of. It is a claw style game where you put in money then try to grab a live lobster with a metal claw to be sent to death. The most heart breaking thing is how the lobsters react when the music starts. They panic and try to run.

Please join me in trying to get these things taken out of restaurants. We are having success. Many bars and restaurants are removing them after enough pressure.

"The machine that you are selling is very disturbing. You are encouraging people to torture lobsters before they are boiled alive, killed, and eaten. How anyone could think this is OK is beyond me. I will be boycotting any and every facility that has this torture machine and telling the owners and management that the reason is because of your horrible machine. I also wrote a letter to PETA with the restaurants info so hopefully their members will send letters.

Punish Those Who Attend Animal Fights

I think attending an animal fight should be a felony. Supporting something is not much different from doing it. If people did not attend dog/cock fights then they would not exist. Animals are forced to kill other animals to avoid their own deaths for human entertainment. It’s disgusting and barbaric. We need to punish the attendees.


In New York it is only a violation to attend a dog fight. Right now there is a bill that would make it a misdemeanor. Like I said, I wish it was a felony but this is a step in the right direction.

HELP DEER AVOID AN INHUMANE DEATH

Cayuga Heights Deputy Mayor Bea Szekely is planning a mass slaughter of deer using a method referred to as the “net and bolt” technique. The veterinary field is saying that the method is cruel and inhumane.


The “net and bolt” technique uses drop nets or rocket-propelled nets to grab groups of deer who often are thrown into the air and then have a metal rod shot into their heads. The deer scream and struggle to escape. The people who kill the deer are compensated per dead body. Male, female, babies, families, and herds all subject to this brutality.

Only 4,000 Bison Left

The wild bison is a beautiful and amazing animal. They are also on the long list of animals that have proven to be able to survive everything except humans. This continent was home to tens of millions of wild bison. Now there are around four thousand.

Yellowstone National Park is where they currently reside. Every winter they face a food shortage and some of the bison go off on their own to find food. The livestock industry, which makes millions off of killing other animals, worries that the bison will bring disease to their livestock. They slaughtered almost two thousand bison in 08. Let’s protect them this year.

IF you have heard about the mother black bear biting the 21 yr old hunter in the Petoskey area this past weekend, did you know that they plan to capture her and kill her? This is per the Chief of Wildlife, MDNRE, Russ Mason.

Please take a moment to help her, she was simply protecting her cubs.

This family of bears, mother and 3 cubs have been in the media for almost a yr in the Petoskey area. All that time it was "ahhhhh" stories. NOW, this 21 yr old hunter goes hunting w/fried chicken smells on his clothing, climbs a tree stand, the cubs tried to climb the tree, he shouted at 2 of them, they climbed down, but the 3rd one continued to climb, the hunter PUNCHED and ELBOWED the cub until it fell from the tree limbs, the mother bear protecting her cubs bit the hunter in the leg, requiring stitches. Russ Mason says it must be destroyed now that it ATTACKED a human.

Tell YouTube To Ban Animal Cruelty

A video was posted on YouTube this year of a teenage girl throwing live puppies into a river. You may have heard her referred to as the “red hooded girl”. This one would probably surprise Charles Manson. Or scare him.


The girl was identified in Bosnia. This would be great news except for the fact that the Bosnian police are not planning on pressing charges. This girl is now “infamous” and probably enjoying the attention.

Please buy me a plane ticket to Bosnia so I can serve justice the “Frank Castle” way. Or at least join me in sending a message to YouTube that they need to treat crimes against animals seriously.

I don’t know what else to say. Maybe “Oh my God or Holy Sh*t" This is an act so horrible that the English language does not have a word to describe it.


Two men have been arrested for be-heading a 2 year old dog with a chainsaw. They decided to use a chainsaw after they failed with a knife. They said that they were doing it because it bit a kid visiting them. Ok, so cut his head off. What?!!

How did they find out that these guys did this? A child services investigator was notified of several children suffering from nightmares. What?!! They did this in front of kids? Yes.

Wolf Hunting

This whole using helicopters and poisonous gas thing to kill wolves is ridiculous. We need to stick up for these guys. The wolf population is already threatened.


The federal Wildlife Services group is going to work with officials in Idaho to murder up to 80% of the wolves in Idaho. They will be killing entire packs. Gassing wolf pups in wolf dens.
